As per directives of ministry of human resource development, govt of India, the 10th All India Engineering/Architecture Entrance examination for admission to various NITs, IIITs, deemed universities and for few state institutions will be conducted by central board of secondary education, New Delhi on 01st May, 2011 (Sunday) for admission to B.E./B.Tech and B.Arch/B.Planning courses

Sale of information bulletin will start from 22nd December, 2010 . from various branches of banks/institutions/regional offices of the board

However, for those willing to apply online, the facility for submission of online application will be available from 23rd November, 2010

This year, for the first time, the board has also made facility available for appearing in online examination for one lac candidates on first come first served basis in select 20 cities with a capacity of 5000 per city

Mode of Examination: There are two mode of examination 

  • Online Examination
  • Offline Examination (Pen & Paper mode) as conducted earlier

Conduct of Online Examination: As per the orders of the Min. of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India, the online examination would be conducted for a maximum of 1.0 lac candidates in BE/B.Tech only and remaining candidates will appear in Pen & paper mode (off-line) as conducted earlier. The candidates wishing to appear in online examination will apply online only through the AIEEE website and the fees is required to be paid by credit/ debit card only. All informations & instructions for submitting of application for appearing in online examination are available on AIEEE website www.aieee.nic.in. The date & time of examination will be informed seperately to all the candidates applying for online examination.

The online examination would be conducted in the cities mentioned in Appendix-VII of information bulletin. The pattern of question paper & time duration of online examination and offline examination would remain the same and the candidates will be informed by various modes about their center, date & time of online examination. Online examination will be conducted for a maximum capacity of 5000 candidates in a city on first-come-first serve basis. The candidates may opt another city if the seats in a particular city are full. Though, the candidates have been asked to submit their choices of examination cities but the Board has right to change the center. The examination fee for the candidates who intend to appear in online examination is as under.

Steps to be followed if fee paid through Demand Draft

  • If you want to remit the fee by Demand Draft, get ready  before filling application form
  • Logon to the AIEEE website, fill the application form, note down the registration number which would be generated by system that is required for making the payment of fee.
  • Fill the details of Demand Draft.
  • Take a printout of Confirmation Page and complete as per the instruction given below.

 

Steps to be followed if fee paid through Credit Card

  • Keep the details of Credit Card (VISA/MasterCard) ready.
  • Logon to the AIEEE website, fill the application form, note down the registration number which would be generated by system that is required for making the payment of fee.
  • Make the payment through Credit Card and note down the payment receipt number, after successful payment of fee.
  • Take a printout of Confirmation Page and complete as per the instruction given below.
  • Note : Bank will charge 2% service/processing charges and service tax as applicable on transaction made by Credit card.

Paste your two recent photographs (as given in point 6 below), sign in the specified box and send this confirmation page along with Demand Draft (In case of Examination Fee deposited through Demand Draft) by Registered/Speed Post (NOT BY COURIER) to " The Assistant Secretary (AIEEE Unit), Central Board of Secondary Education, PS 1-2, Institutional Area, IP Extension,Patparganj, Delhi 110 092" for further processing so as to reach latest by 20.01.2011 . Application received beyond this date will not be accepted.

Photograph : Firmly affix two recent high contrast passport size preferably black & white photograph (taken on or after 1.9.2010) with gum/fevicol (not to be pinned or stapled) in the space provided for it in the Application Form one duly attested by the head of the institution where the candidate is studying/passed class XII or the Gazatted officer. The photograph must indicate clearly the name of the candidate along with the date of taking the photograph. It should be without cap or goggles. Spectacles are allowed. Polaroid photos are not acceptable. The photograph of the candidate should be attested by the Principal/Head of the Institution or Gazetted Officer in such a way that part of the signature is on the photograph and remaining part of the signature is on the application form. Attestation should be done on the bottom part of the photograph so that the photograph is not defaced. Candidates not complying with these instructions or with unclear photograph are liable to be rejected. Candidates may keep 6-8 identical photographs in reserve for use at the time of entrance examination/Counselling/Admission.

Candidates submitting applications online for Offline (pen-paper mode) Examination are required 

  • to attach Demand Draft of required fee (In favour of “Secretary Central Board of Secondary Education,Delhi”, payable at Delhi).
  • to mention his/her Registration No., Name, and Address on the back of the Demand Draft .
  • to retain a photocopy of confirmation page for future reference.
  • to retain a photocopy of the Demand Draft sent.
  • to retain a photocopy of the transaction receipt if fee paid by Credit Card.
  • to retain the original receipt issued by the post office for having dispatch the Application Form.
  • the processing of applications will begin only after receiving confirmation page and fee (by Credit Card or by Demand Draft).

Date of Birth : Only  those candidates whose date of birth falls on or after October 01, 1986 are eligible. However, in the case of Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Physically Handica pped (PH) candidates, upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years, i.e. SC, ST and PH candidates who were born on or after October 01, 1981 are eligible.  Date of birth as recorded in the Secondary Education Board/University certificate only will be taken as authentic.

ADMISSION NOTICE 2011

Applications are invited in the prescribed form for All India Pre-Medical / Pre-Dental Entrance Examination (AIPMT) 2011to be conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi as per the following schedule for admission to 15% of the total seats for Medical/Dental Courses in all Medical/Dental Colleges run by the Union of India, State Governments, Municipal and other local authorities in India except in the States of ANDHRA PRADESH AND JAMMU &
KASHMIR :-
1. Preliminary Examination - 3rd April, 2011 (Sunday)
2. Final Examination - 15th May, 2011 (Sunday)

PATTERN OF EXAMINATION: BOTH PRELIMINARY AND FINAL EXAMINATION WOULD BE OBJECTIVE TYPE.

Eligibility for CBSE AIPMT 2011

(i) He/She has completed age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete the age on or before 31st December of the year of his/her admission to the 1st year M.B.B.S./B.D.S. course and is an INDIAN NATIONAL.

(ii) The upper age limit for All India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Examination is 25 years as on 31st December of the year of the entrance examination. Further provided that upper age limit shall be relaxed by a period of 5 (five) years for the candidates of Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes/Other Backward Classes.

(iii) The number of attempts which a candidate can avail at All India Pre-Medical/Pre- Dental Entrance Examination shall be limited to 3 (three) uniformly for all the candidates.

(iv) The candidate must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology at the qualifying examination. In respect of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes or Other Backward Classes the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together in qualifying examination be 40% instead of 50% for General Candidates. Further, for persons for locomotory disability of lower limbs, the minimum of 45% marks for General-PH and 40% marks for SC-PH/ST-PH/OBC-PH are required. Those who are taking plus two examination in 2011 can also appear for the entrance test provisionally subject to their fulfilling the conditions later.

(v) 15% seats for SC candidates, 7.5% seats for ST candidates, 27% seats for non-creamy layer OBC candidates in Central Institutions only and 3% seats on horizontal basis for Physically Handicapped candidates are reserved in 15% All India Quota for MBBS/BDS courses.

How to Apply

Online

Online submission of application may be made by accessing the board’s website www.aipmt.nic.in from 15th November, 2010 (10.00 a.m.) to 31st December, 2010 (5.00 p.m.). Instructions for sending online application, payment of fee and computer generated printout are available on website. Candidates submitting online application have been given exemption of Rs 100/- in the examination fee irrespective of their category

Accordingly, fee of Rs 700/- for general/OBC category candidates and Rs 350/- for SC/ST category candidates may be remitted in the following ways; by credit card, or through demand draft in favour of Secretary, central board of secondary education, Delhi drawn on any nationalized bank payable at Delhi

Offline

Offline submission of application may be made on the prescribed application form. The information bulletin and application form costing Rs 800/- for General/OBC category and Rs 450/- for SC/ST category can be obtained against cash payment from the designated branches of Canara bank/regional offices of the CBSE between 13th December, 2010 to 31st December, 2010. Information bulletin and application form can also be obtained by post from the board by sending a written request with a demand draft for Rs 850/- for general/OBC category and Rs 500/- for SC/ST category payable to the secretary, central board of secondary education, Delhi along with a self addressed envelope of size 12”x10”. The request must reach to the board on or before 24th December, 2010. The request should be superscribed as request for information bulletin and application form for AIPMT-2011

KERALA ENGINEERING / MEDICAL ENTRANCE EXAMINATIONS, 2011

 

TO THE SPECIAL ATTENTION OF CANDIDATES APPLYING ONLINE

ONLINE APPLICATION is intended for Keralite candidates who do not claim any reservation benefit or those belonging to Non-Keralite category.

 

There is only a single application form for applying for the Entrance Examination for admission to all the courses (Medical, Engineering and Architecture). If a candidate submits more than one application his/her candidature is liable to be cancelled.

 

All candidates applying online should take a printout of the application after entering all details through the website. A photograph identical to the uploaded one shall be pasted in the appropriate box and should be got attested by a Gazetted Officer/ Head of Institution. The application process will be finished only on submission of the printout of the application to the office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations. All requisite certificates to prove nativity and academic eligibility (course certificate) shall be completed properly. Candidates already completed their Higher Secondary or Equivalent course and applying for Engineering courses should attach copy of mark lists duly attested by a Gazetted Officer.They need not produce the course certificate separately. Candidates appearing for Higher Secondary or Equivalent Examinations will also be allowed provisionaly to appear for the Engineering Entrance Examination. They should produce attested copy of their mark list on or before 31-05-2011 for preparation of Engineering Rank list.Those candidates already completed their Higher Secondary or Equivalent course and applying for Medical courses can attach a self attested copy of the Higher Secondary or Equivalent mark list instead of Course Certificate to prove academic eligibility. Candidates appearing for Higher Secondary or Equivalent Examinations will also be allowed provisionaly to appear for the Medical Entrance Examination. They should prove their academic eligiblity at the time of admission. Candidates who wish to be considered for any kind of scholarship / fee waiver schemes to be announced later by the Government shall enclose income certificate obtained from the revenue authorities.

Printout of the application COMPLETE IN ALL RESPECTS should be submitted in the Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations on or before 5 PM on 14-02-2011.

Application fee, Rs.700/- (Rupees Seven Hundred only) shall be remitted in any branch of State Bank of Travancore by means of Chalan provided in the printout of the application form (attach original chalan certified by the bank authorities along with the completed application) . Candidates who do not have access to State Bank of Travancore can attach a Demand Draft for Rs.700/- (Rupees Seven Hundred only) drawn on a Nationalised Bank, in favour of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, payable at Thiruvananthapuram, as application fee.

 

Candidates opting DUBAI as the centre for the examination, should submit a Demand Draft for Rs.8500/- (Rupees Eight Thousand Five Hundred only) drawn on a Nationalised Bank, in favour of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, payable at Thiruvananthapuram as centre fee, in addition to the application fee of Rs.700/- as mentioned above.

 

 

Candidates applying for B.Arch. course only: should fill the application form and remit Rs.700/- (Rupees Seven Hundred Only) as application fee either through the chalan or as Demand Draft drawn on a Nationalised bank in favour of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, payable at Thiruvananthapuram and submit to the CEE on or before 14-02-2011, 5pm. There is no separate entrance examination for admission to B.Arch course. However, such candidates have to appear for the ‘National Aptitude Test in Architecture’ (NATA) conducted by the National Institute for Advanced Studies in Architecture (NIASA). Such candidates should also forward the copy of their NATA score card and copy of the mark list of the qualifying examination to the CEE so as to reach him on or before 31-05-2011 for preparation of the Architecture Rank List. (Candidates applying only for B.Arch. course need not remit the centre fee.)
